Our Autumn visit to Chatsworth House, Derbyshire

Our visit to Chatsworth includes a one hour guided tour with over 30 rooms to explore from the magnificent Painted Hall, regal State Rooms, restored Sketch Galleries and beautiful Sculpture Gallery and a guided tour of the garden giving its history and key position in English landscape design influenced by some of the greatest artists and designers of their time.

Chatsworth contains works of art that span 4,000 years, include ancient Roman and Egyptian sculpture, masterpieces by Rembrandt, Reynolds and Veronese, and work by modern artists, Lucian Freud, David Hockney, Edmund de Waal and David Nash.

8am      Coach departs Christchurch Road
12pm    Guided tour of the house.
1pm      Lunch (not included) in one of the several excellent eating areas or bring your own picnic to eat in the grounds.
2.30pm   Guided tour of the garden and its history
4.30pm   Coach departs for Northampton


£44 per person to include coach, entrance to house and gardens with guided tours.
